Here we describe how Mad Axe Throwing Club collects and processes your personal data when you book axe throwing or contact us. We care about your privacy and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Last updated: 26 July 2026.
1. Data controller
Mad Axe Stockholm AB, Kammakargatan 18, Stockholm, is the controller for the processing of your personal data. If you have questions about how we handle your data, reach us at stockholm@madaxe.se.
2. What data we collect
When you make a booking we collect your name, email address, phone number, and details of your booking (date, time and number of participants). When paying the deposit, card details are handled directly by our payment provider - we never store your card numbers. When you contact us by email or form, we process the data you provide yourself.
3. Why we process it and legal basis
We process your data to administer and confirm your booking, charge the deposit, send booking confirmations and contact you when needed. The legal basis is performance of a contract (your booking). Accounting records are kept to fulfil a legal obligation. Web analytics only takes place with your consent.
4. Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We only share it with providers that help us run the service, as data processors:
- Stripe - deposit payment.
- Resend - sending booking confirmations by email.
- Google Analytics - anonymised web statistics, only if you consent.
5. How long we keep the data
We keep booking data for as long as needed to fulfil the booking and thereafter for as long as the law requires (e.g. the Swedish Bookkeeping Act, seven years for records that constitute accounting information). Data not covered by legal requirements is deleted when no longer needed.
6. Cookies
We use necessary cookies for the website to function. Analytics and statistics cookies are only activated if you give your consent in the cookie banner. You can change your choice or block cookies in your browser at any time.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to, rectification of or erasure of your personal data, to object to or request restriction of the processing, and the right to data portability. Contact us at stockholm@madaxe.se and we'll help you.
8. Complaints
If you believe we process your personal data incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
